| Under Article (9) of
Constitution of the Youth Hostels Association, any
citizen of Pakistan who is not less than fourteen
years of age may apply for membership of the Association
on payment of fee as may be prescribed from time
to time by the Executive Committee of the Association.
In order to accommodate groups of students during
summer vacation, any reputed University, College,
School and Club may also apply for group membership
on payment of the prescribed fee. Another category
of membership is life membership which is given
to members who render outstanding services to
the cause of the Association.
The last and important category of membership
is "International Membership" which
is open to all persons who qualify to be ordinary
members of the Association.
This membership entitles the holder accommodation
in hostels throughout the world. Presently, there
are 5000 individuals and 60 colleges on the roll
of the Association from all the four provinces
and from Azad Kashmir.
